Whenever i try to text/use the internet without Wi-Fi, my phone doesn't work. What should i do?
When you turn off your Wi-Fi does your phone indicate signal bars? If not, your phone has not been activated properly. Your phone not being able to text or use data is a sign you have no service. Especially if your calls don't go through as well. Try checking to see if your mobile data has been turned on. Try turning your phone off and on. And if all else fails, call customer service from a different phone so they can help you troubleshoot your phone.
That is what I did when I had just bought my phone and had to work within. I have it so that it downloads from either wifi or data, I have also.

Settings > Cellular. Turn off Cellular Data. Leave it off, Restart the phone. Go back in and turn it back on.
Turn the Wi-Fi off. Attempt a text or use data internet with Wi-Fi still shut off to see if it will work. Best luck.
